"I met Faye at a desperate juncture in my life, the timing of our work together was by divine intervention, I was actively manifesting help subconsciously and as divinity would have it, it set our paths to cross again after 9 years apart as friends.
As a young boy and aspiring young man, I was always told to suck it up, men don’t cry ‘bla di blady bla’ the deeply sad shit that if not coached in the right light has damaging implications and limitations, in my case ADHD! I was stuck in the trap I’d believed for years was set to catch me and ruin me, I’d fallen victim to my own mind and things that had happened throughout my 35 years on this beautiful planet.
I will not be sharing details regarding what’s personal, but I will tell you about the profound, life altering experience that Faye facilitated that in many ways saved my life after several attempts to end it over the past decade. In our 5 months together, I unpacked 35 years of trauma, faced several demons and showed them unequivocal love and kindness. I spoke with younger version of myself during inner child work, I cried many healing tears and in turn bonded and repaired many fractures and opened closed doors to heal a very guarded and shut off mindscape. There were several ego deaths and barriers I’d put up over the years came crashing down. A truly beautiful rebirth.
I’ve come to love myself for the first time in my life, talking about true love here, the type that fires up the cerebral cortex into a lighting storm. I’ve come to show myself compassion and patience for the first time in the most kind way. I’ve come to experience beautiful epiphanies, such as a new motto conjured during our work and now live by, ‘what will be will be, embrace every moment and smile in the face of adversity.’
